Jenny Hynes FACP

Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jenny sat extensive examinations to be inducted as a fellow into the Australian College of Physiotherapy in 2009 and gain the title of Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, one of only a few physiotherapists in the state to have done so.

Jenny has over 20 years of experience in the treatment of the musculoskeletal conditions, holding a Masters degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and 5 years post graduate training in Osteopathy. She is a guest lecturer at Melbourne and Victoria Universities and has specialized expertise in the management of all musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in low back, pelvic girdle and hip pain.

Jenny is a leading clinician in her field, involved in running and lecturing onto numerous post graduate courses both for the physiotherapy and osteopathic professions. She is the physiotherapy Medical Panel consultant for Worksafe Victoria, the physiotherapy sessional member for VCAT and consults for a variety of elite sporting teams and individual athletes.

With a passion for excellence she is the ideal practitioner in the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Michelle Pardy

Physiotherapist and Yoga Instructor.

Michelle has been working as a physiotherapist for the past 20 years after graduating from LaTrobe University in Melbourne in 1992.
She initially worked in Canada and the UK specializing in NeuroRehabilitation. Returning to Australia she developed an interest in Women’s Health and worked at the Royal Women’s Hospital.

Michelle has two children of her own and is passionate about the role of physiotherapy in the treatment and management of back pain and pelvic girdle pain, both during and post pregnancy.

For the last 7 years Michelle has been working very closely with Jenny Hynes in the treatment of lower back, hip and pelvic pain and over the past 5 years has tutored alongside Jenny on multiple post graduate courses aimed at educating the physiotherapy profession in the management of these conditions. As per the philosophy of Spine and Pelvis Physiotherapy, Michelle is not only involved in the running of post graduate courses, but regularly attends professional development seminars and workshops to maintain the highest level of physiotherapy management.

Michelle has recently completed her training as a qualified yoga instructor. She uses the knowledge from her yoga practice and training to integrate the breath, mind and body with movement retraining and exercise prescription for rehabilitation.
